Warot Jarusirikul

b. 1998. Lives and works in Ratchaburi.

Born in 1998, Warot is currently based in Ratchaburi. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University. Warot is interested in anatomy, horror and surreal scenes from movies, artworks and photographs which influenced him to think about himself, human nature, fear, anger, and death.

He captures the negative side of humans to define who we really are inside our own body, unpleasant feelings, and struggling in life. This series of works created from exploring the strangeness and insecurity of the human mind through the representation of physical forms. The destructive atmosphere, decomposition and unstable conditions are main parts of his view toward the strange world.
